SIMSTICK ia a great looking USB interface device that will allow you to connect to your PC without using the wires. Anytime you want to use your simulator just turn on your transmitter and it will instantly connect. There is no appreciable loss in latency and it will even allow you to fly with transmitters that do not have a trainer port (i.e. DX7 SE).
Whether you are a RC helicopter or plane pilot there are many advantages to practicing on an RC flight simulator. The only pain is the lead you connect to your PC, it gets under your feet, looks messy and it’s never there when you need it, so why not tidy it away?
Simstick is compatible with most Spektrum based radios including the DX8 and the majority of 6 channel receivers with a narrow pin spacing.
SIMSTICK enables you to connect to your RC Flight Sim with NO WIRES!
We have successfully tested SIMSTICK with the following equipment.
- Spektrum DX8
- Spektrum DX7
- Spektrum DX7 SE
- Spektrum DX6i
- JR DSX9
- JR DSX12
Receivers
- Spektrum AR6100
- Spektrum AR6100e
- Spektrum AR6110
- Spektrum AR6200

Follow these simple steps to wireless simulator flight !
A Spektrum based transmitter (DX6i, DX7, DX8, JR DSX9, etc)
Find a blank model memory, choose "HELI MODE" (even for planes!!!) and choose "single Servo", not CCPM or any other multi servo configurations.
A Spektrum based receiver (currently most 6 channel receivers available, i.e. AR6100, 6110, etc)
You will need to apply power to the receiver via a regulated lipo or a NiCad and perform the bind process set out by the manufacturer. The transmitter needs to be on a separate model memory, in heli mode (even for planes) and in a single servo operating configuration (i.e. not set to multi servo CCPM mode if being used for helis).
CAUTION: Care should be taken to ensure that the receiver is correctly installed.
The battery terminals on the receiver must overhang the connection block where the arrow on the Simstick points.
Connect your SIMSTICK to one of your computer’s free USB ports.
We recommend you use a USB fly lead to reduce the chance of breakage or stress to the USB connector on the SimStick.
You will find the Aileron, Pitch and Throttle channels will need to be re-assigned in the . Either follow your RC flight simulator instructions. Watch video.....
You are now ready to fly. We hope you enjoy using SIMSTICK as much as we do! Please let us know what you think.
